Biography

I am a French photographer based in Los Angeles, CA, USA, celebrated for my cultural portraits, dramatic landscapes, and minimalistic scenes. Born in France and having lived in the UK and the USA, my extensive travels infuse my work with a rich, global perspective.
Inspired by my father, I discovered my passion for photography in high school, where I mastered black and white film photography and its associated chemistry. Over the years, dedication and practice have refined my craft, and this technical expertise underpins my ability to create compelling visual narratives that capture the essence of diverse cultures and breathtaking environments.
My work explores themes such as Mongolia's eagle hunters and Mexico's Catrinas, showcasing a dedication to documenting unique traditions and vibrant cultural expressions.
I intentionally share only a select few images online, as I believe that digital screens cannot capture the true depth and quality of my prints.

Artist Statement
I am driven by an insatiable curiosity for the world's diverse cultures and landscapes, and my work is a personal exploration of beauty and human connection. Inspired by visionaries like Sebastião Salgado, Helmut Newton, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Steve McCurry, I create images that transcend mere documentation and evoke deep, powerful emotions.
Whether I am capturing the silent majesty of a solitary desert or the vibrant pulse of a local festival, I reveal the universal threads that bind us all. Through careful composition, dramatic interplay of light and shadow, and a refined attention to subtle storytelling, I invite viewers to experience the heart of every moment. At times, I embrace a minimalist approach, stripping away the extraneous to spotlight the raw emotion of a scene.
Ultimately, my goal is to celebrate the beauty, resilience, and shared experiences of people and places, fostering a profound sense of unity and understanding in our ever-changing world.
